Located in the heart of the city, the Timmins and District Hospital (TADH) is a fully accredited referral and teaching hospital serving the City of Timmins and Cochrane District. The hospital offers a full range of medical, surgical, emergency, maternity, pediatric, long-term care, and health services, and is a leader is state-of-the-art telecommunications and diagnostic equipment connecting staff to specialists across Canada.
In addition to the TADH, the Timmins Academic Family Health Team provides access to a network of health practitioners and a suite of health services, including after-hours clinics. The Porcupine Health Unit offers public health programs and services such as dental hygienists, speech language pathologists, dietitians, and more to help residents of Timmins and area improve their health. There are also many other private health professionals practicing throughout the community in order to help keep you and your family healthy.
