Child Care is much easier to find in Timmins compared with most places, whether your child is still an infant or is in daycare, preschool, or elementary school. The waitlist here is almost non-existent, with some childcare providers accepting ongoing intake of new clients.

The Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board (CDSSAB) is the managing body for licensed childcare, private home childcare, special needs resourcing, before and after school recreation programs, and family resource centre programs.

EarlyOn Child and Family Centres offer a variety of free play-based programs for children from birth to 6 years of age and provide support services for parents and caregivers.
